About Minefield
Minefield uses a 5 × 5 grid with 1–24 mines. Choose a stake and mine count, reveal safe tiles, and cash out after at least one safe pick. Hitting a mine loses the stake. Finding every safe tile or reaching the payout cap settles the round automatically.
Multipliers depend on the mine count and number of safe picks. The table below uses three mines and is generated by the same function as the game.
Features
- Five mine counts: 1, 3, 5, 10 or 24 on a 25-tile board.
- The multiplier and the chance of the next tile are shown before every pick.
- Cash out after at least one safe tile; hitting a mine loses the stake.
- Finding every safe tile, or reaching the payout cap, settles the round automatically.
- The layout comes from an HMAC-driven shuffle; the round can be recomputed from the revealed seeds.
- Your last 50 rounds are kept with their layout and multiplier.
How to play Minefield
- Choose a stake and a mine count.
- Reveal tiles one at a time. Each safe tile raises the multiplier.
- Cash out at any point after the first safe tile.
- A mine ends the round and loses the stake. Clearing every safe tile pays automatically.
- Hitting the maximum win also settles the round automatically.

Fairness and limits
The mine layout is derived from the server seed, your client seed and the round number, and is only shown once the round is lost. Payouts are capped at the game’s maximum win and at the stake times the game’s maximum multiplier.
The three-mine table, generated by the same function the game uses:
| Safe picks | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1.10× |
| 2 | 1.25× |
| 3 | 1.44× |
| 4 | 1.67× |
| 5 | 1.95× |

- Three percent: the multiplier is 97% of the fair odds for the same board.
- What happens on the last safe tile?
- The round settles automatically at the multiplier for a full clear, subject to the payout caps.
